Dia Mirza is an famous Indian actress, model, producer and beauty queen who won Miss Asia Pacific 2000 title . She is all set to be seen in Sonam Nair’s Kafir, which is a web series which is to be aided on ZEE5 . She is very excited about her new digital debut. She was last seen in the Bollywood movie ‘SANJU’ starring ranbir kapoor. She is playing the role of ‘Kainaaz’ in the series. Discussing about her web series She says, “I feel this role has brought in loads of empowerment and strength for me and I have been able to give my best.”
Dia also told that she is also excited about the future of OTT (Over-the-top media like Netflix , Zee5 , Voot Etc. ) platforms in India. According to her these ott platforms gives an actor or actress more room to showcase his/her talent and explore her character at length. “Here, we do not have to limit ourselves like we have to in films,” she feels.
During her recent interview Dia shared her awesome thought . We all know Dia was born in an multi-cultural upbringing (born to father who was christian and a Bengali mother and raised in a Muslim home). She feels that the biggest lesson in her life that her mother and father had taught her is that of humanity.
She added “When I went to school, I was asked about my identity. I would come home and ask the same questions to my mother. And she would say ‘I hope you are a good human being in the making; your first religion has to be humanity’,”. Dia also revealed in her interview that her journey with web series ‘Kafir’ has brought a better sense of humanity in her. “I am blessed and feel as if there is some sort of a celestial connection bringing all of us together,” she concludes.
